does compressor 4 work with Final Cut Pro 5.1.4

I'm using a new 2015 iMac 3.1 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB ,OS 10.11.2 (El Capitan)

I've been using Final Cut Pro 5.1.4 with Compressor 2.3.1.

Problem is that Compressor 2.3.1 will not render in El Capitan, so my question is:

Will Compressor 4 work with Final Cut Pro 5.1.4 in El Capitan?
